Very rare hair adornments from Afghanistan. These were worn by tribal women on either sides of the head, with the central disk worn just above the forehead. Crafted from available metals, including Marie Theresa silver thalers, brass, etc. The stones are lapis lazuli found only in Afghanistan at the time. Approx. total weight 254.23 grams.
