An 18th century painted hanging cabinet, containing an amazing display of 19th century Staffordshire nursery named cups and plates including Elizabeth, Thomas, Joseph, William and Hannah. Pearlware children's plates with printed and painted verses and sonnets.

This is a lovely one person collection which has taken a number of years to achieve.
Most pieces do have some damage which is to be expected and these are listed below

PLATES
Maria - hairline cracked and crazed and a chop to the underside
Alice - cracked nearly all the way through
Thomas - completely restores
Grace before meat - cracked and restored
A present for my dear boy- has a hairline crack running from the outer edge in towards the middle
Very good pie - cracked and restored
Jesus my all - small hair line crack
Little Flore - hairline crack from the outer edge towards the middle
The flower basket - as above
William- as above
Mary - 2 small hairline cracks and 2 small chips
All others are not damaged but all have crazing, discolouration surface paint loss and obvious ware.

Cups
Janeann - chipped along the top edge
William - chipped and cracked along the bottom edge
The Gleaner - several large hairline cracks and a couple of small chips
Hannah - hairline crack running through and chipped along the top edge
Martha - hairline crack and handle has been broken off and reglued back.
A present for Hannah - small chip to the top edge, and 2 along the underside edge
Swan - handle missing, restored chip along the top edge
Playing at horses - handle missing, hairline crack, several chips
Elizabeth - chipped including the handle, several hairline cracks,
Thomas - chipped and cracked,
William - hairline crack in the body
Eileen - large hairline crack through the body, chipped along the top edge.
Imari- hairline crack by the handle and another further along the body
From an affectionate friend - chipped along g the top edge and a hairline crack through the body
Small blue & white cup - some small glazing chips
All pieces have crazing, some are discoloured all commensurate with age and use.
