These prints are from Bird Pictures drawn by Hector Giacomelli. Published by T Nelson, London 1880.

This enchanting early children's book features a story about each of the birds in the pictures by Mrs. Elizabeth Surr (included).

Hector Giacomelli (1822-1904) was a French watercolourist, engraver and illustrator, best known for his beautiful bird illustrations.

Size: approx 7in x 9.5in (18cm x 24cm).
