S/L NAMESTAMPS & MILEAGE MARKS: 1758-1825 set of covers inc. 1759 EL to Leeds with fine "DON/CASTER" hs on back, and similar dated 1782 or 1783; 1788 E to London with over-inked "RICHMOND/YORKSHE" hs on back; 1750s E (faults) with partial over-inked "SCAR/BOROUG[H]" hs on back; 1771 EL with faint large "SELBY" hs on back, and similar smaller hs on 1818 E; and others for Boroughbridge, Halifax, Leeds, Northallerton, Sledmere, and York. Also, mileage mark hs's for Beverley, Bradford, Doncaster, Richmond, Rotherham, Thorne, Wetherby, and York. In variable condition but strikes mainly v. good. (27)
