Japanese - Signed and Quality Meiji Period 1864 - 1912 Small Carved Ivory Figure of ' Ebisu ' One of The Seven Gods of Fortune, Sometimes Called Hiruko. He Is The God of Fishermen and Luck / Also the Protectors of Children, Versions of His Legend, Say He Was Cast Out to Sea, At The Age of Three ( 3 ) His Survival Made Him Strong and He Is The Symbol of Perseverance. Signed to Base. 2.25 Inches High. Condition Is Excellent with Age Related Patina. Provenance - Comes From a Deceased Gentleman's Private Collection.
