A SET OF SIX BIRMINGHAM MINT JANE AUSTEN SILVER PLAQUES, comprising Pride & Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Emma, Sense & Sensibility, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion, all hallmarked Birmingham Mint, Birmingham 1976, all mounted and framed, plaque size 9.7cm x 6.8cm, frames 16cm x 13cm approx., together with a Birmingham Mint letter relating to delay with delivering the set and a Birmingham Mint Collector's Book which is mentioned in the letter and a Jane Austen Bicentenary medallic first day cover, framed and with certificate behind mount (9) (Condition Report: the Mansfield Park plaque appears to be less well finished than the others, the Medallic first day cover has some staining/ foxing)
