19th century French guitar branded Aubry Maire to the inside back, circa 1840; Body: natural maple back and sides and spruce top, intricate mastic, pearl. herringbone and floral inlay to the edges and sound hole rosette, repaired hairline cracks to top; Neck: figured maple, open head with foliate urn inlay to front; Hardware: engraved brass tuners with shaped ivory buttons; Case: fitted ebonised wooden case; Nut width: 45mm; Scale length: 625mm; Overall condition: good

A few fine repaired hairline cracks to the top. the horseshoe section of the bridge appears to be a replacement. Back and sides appear crack free. Slight damage to veneer on neck heel. Refret. Possible refinishing.
