British Victorian 1871 Pattern Cavalry Helmet. Brass skull with 4th Dragoon Guards regimental helmet plate to front. Helmet has brass cross base and fluted plume holder which houses a falling red/black horse hair plume. Rosette to top of holder. Copper rosettes which hold the chin chain backed with black leather. Dark brown leather liner. Underside of peak has a thin leather covering.
Overall condition is good. Skull of helmet has usual service wear.
