2nd Hampshire Artillery Volunteers Victorian Officer’s Dress Pouch circa 1860-71.

A good scarce example, the flap faced with dark blue cloth edged with silver artillery pattern lace and bearing Royal Arms, flanked by oak leaf and laurel sprays in silver embroidery. “SECOND” padded crimson velvet scroll over silvered metal gun with revolving wheel resting on padded crimson velvet tri-part scroll “HANTS VOLUNTEER ARTILLERY”. White metal suspension loops, complete with collapsable pocket and closure tongue. Some moth holes to reverse otherwise VGC

Formed at Southsea 9th May 1860. Amalgamated with 3rd at Portsmouth 1871.
