A REGENCY SATINWOOD AND POLYCHROME PAINTED TABLE CABINET. modelled as a stylised wardrobe, the ebony and boxwood strung hinged lid with foliate painted frieze opening to reveal a rectangular aperture, the single hinged front door painted with two oval simulated panels depicting a lady carrying a bundle of sticks to the left and two boys ice skating to the right, each surrounded by a beaded and scrolled border, the interior with a dummy drawer above two dummy short drawers, eight graduated drawers and a long drawer to the base, with turned ivory handles, raised on brass ogee bracket feet, 22cm wide, 29.5cm high, 14.5cm deep CITES ref.
