J. Stewart (Scottish, late 19th century), Highland river landscape, oil on canvas, signed and dated 1896 lower right, behind glass in original gilded oak frame, 11¼ x 19¼in. (28.5 x 48.8cm.).
*Condition: Noticeable craquelure in places across the canvas, which is unsightly in a few areas and would benefit from attention by a restorer. No evidence of any retouching or restoration under UV. Dirt behind glass and a few losses to moulding on frame.
