German Third Reich TeNo Hewer by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen c. 1938-41. Good scarce example of the 1938 model, the blade bearing 1935-41 squirrel logo, Ges. Gesch, eagle and swastika mark. Two piece white celluloid grip, the cross guard bearing a TeNo device, the eagle head shaped pommel ornamented with a cogwheel eye; housed in its nickel mounted, black painted regulation scabbard with squared suspension bar, the throat of which bears issue number 8479. Plating lifting in places. GC TENO (Technische Nothilfe) was the Technical Emergency Corps
