A RARE 8TH-9TH CENTURY SYRIAN UMAYYAD CAMEL-SHAPED MEDICINAL GLASS VESSEL

A unique and rare 8th-9th century Syrian Umayyad glass vessel, designed in the form of a camel. This medicinal vessel features a spiral-wrapped body with a spout extending from the top, while the stylised camel legs and tail form its base.  The vessel, likely used for storing medicinal substances.
