Star Lot: An unusual antique elliptical shaped sterling silver canister. Hallmarked London, 1799. With visible makers mark which states "George Smith (II) & Thomas Hayter" which was active from 1791-1804. Accompanied by a sterling silver screw top, hallmarked London 1815. Piece has an attractive floral engraving and border to top and surround. Total weight: 139 grams.
