WW1 Military Medal, 1914 Star trio and Memorial Plaque to L-10889 Sjt B. Slade R. Fus (1/R Fus on Star and MM, Benjamin Slade on plaque) extremely fine and better. His MM was announced in the London Gazette dated 11th October 1916, so likely for Somme operations. He was killed in action during a large raid on the German trenches on 14th January 1917 and is buried in Philosophe British Cemetery. With copied CWGC, Soldiers Died, Casualty List, war diary entry and MICs, he was also wounded in the hand just prior to 17/8/16, landed France 7/9/14, not issued bar & roses. Also with Buckingham Palace plaque transmission letter, metal ID wrist bracelet, RF shoulder title converted to a badge and 1915 Hudson whistle. (See photo) (R)
