AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY SILVER BOX with wood lining to the interior, the cover engraved with inscription: ‘Presented To Mr. F.W. Noal From The workers of The Marine Shops Parkeston Quay. As a token of esteem upon his retirement. July 1937’. The maker’s mark is indistinct, a Lion passant is present along with a date letter of J. Possibly Birmingham – 1933. Condition – very good, a couple of small dents – as photographed. Dimensions: 11 x 8.5 x 2.5cm
