19th cylindrical porcelain teapot and cover with a matching sugar bowl, the teapot with fitted gilt metal chains, gilded knop finial painted with mauve and green foliate bands with gilt highlights, teapot 5" high, the bowl 3" high, 4" diameter; with a 19th century globular porcelain teapot and cover, with a gilded flower finial painted with oval gilded panels of birds on a green ground, 5.5" high (at fault) (3)
Teapot with chain - possible retouching and chip restoration to the tip of the spout, also evidence of some restoration to the rim; sugar bowl is in good general condition with no obvious damage or restoration, some surface marks to the glaze as expected to the interior; the green teapot has had retouching to the gilt on the spout and also has a complete break to the base which is visible to the interior and has been overpainted to the exterior in a professional manner but is a slightly different colour and visible, the cover has also had restoration around the complete rim and is an off-white colour.
