A WINCHESTER COLLEGE QUINCENTENARY MEDAL BY GEORGE FRAMPTON, AND ANOTHER. A large silvered presentation medal, obverse with a robed figure of the Archbishop to the centre, seated on a throne, crozier in his right hand, a model of Winchester cathedral in his lap, signed G. Frampton, 7.5c (Eimer 1785). Exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1908, this medal was presented to the Governors and Housemasters of the college. And a 1905 Oxford University Athletics Club medal, 'Weight 2nd 33ft 5in J.F.R. Daniel, 6cm. (2). *CR Second dented and not entirely flat, first with slight tone.
