A Victorian scrimshaw whale tooth, circa/post 1850’s. Detailed engraved decoration depicting ‘Horsted Place’ in Little Horsted, East Sussex with a hot air balloon flying overhead. Initialled ‘J.F.C.’ 13 cm length.
Condition report: Restored and stained tip with some overall age related surface wear present.
