German Third Reich Luftwaffe 1st pattern Officer’s dagger by SMF, Solingen. Good example circa 1935-37 with twist wire bound blue leather grip, aluminium mounts with gilt washed mobile swastika to centre of pommel and down swept cross-guard on both sides. Double edged polished blade bearing SMF seated king logo. Housed in its dark blue leather covered scabbard with aluminium mounts and aluminium chains retaining spring clip stamped with OLC diamond logo. GC Introduced in 1935.
