A 19th Century 1822 pattern British Volunteer Officers sword. Stepped pommel with ball finial, ray skin grip with wire banding and a pierced basket guard with a strung bugle inset to the hilt. Blade marked for makers Thurkle of Soho London. Measures approx 100cm.
