George III silver verge pair cased pocket watch, London 1785, associated fusee movement signed Jon Williamson, Bold, no. 211, with pierced engraved balance cock depicting sun flower and pot, steel three arm balance, silvered regulating disc and square baluster pillars, the dial with Roman numerals and minute track, gilt hour hand, within plain matching cases, case maker 'NTW' (Nicholas Thomas Wood), 51mm (the movement requires attention)
Movement - not functioning, fully wound, ticks when pressure placed on stem.
Dial - surface marks, probably later.
Glass - light surface marks, blemish to the outer edge at the six/seven position.
Hands - hour hand only, good.
Case - mild bruising to the inner case, winding hole has been enlarged to fit stem position, movement does not fit case snuggly, outer case with some mild bruise marks and tarnishing, button at fault.
