A Chinese celadon jade 'quail' waterdropper, 18th / 19th century, carved in recumbent pose, with later metal fitting to the top, the stone with some russet inclusions, 11.4cm long

Presumably where the later metal fitting has been inset there was once a cover now lacking, natural inclusions to the stone otherwise in good condition.
