A fine example of a large Ammonite Cleoniceras cleon from Madagascar of Albian, Lower Cretaceous (113-100.5
million years) age. Scientifically identified and expertly prepared with a highly polished surface where the intricate
“Oak leaf pattern” of the suture lines can be observed and admired. Traces of the original mother of pearl with
strong iridescence (called AMMOLITE) are still visible around the umbilicus. Dimensions: 17.5 x 14.5 x 4 cm,
weight: 980 g.
