Regency giltwood and gesso overmantel mirror, c. early 19th century, decorated with panels of fruit and vines and floral roundels, 88cm high, 146.5cm wide and 14cm deep. Old label to verso for IT. Austin, Carver & Gilder, Ipswich
The mirror has been replaced. There are issues to the gesso frame, some moulding has been recently glued back on. Some pieces are lacking. Some pieces are lacking but present, but not all. There are areas of paint loss to the gilt. There are age-related stains/marks verso.
