Welsh dated copper lustre milk jug, inscribed 'Thomas Tomlinson 1822', baluster form and decorated with an exotic bird in blossoming branches in colours, the inscription in puce, height 18cm
The jug has a repair to the foot rim, a section approximately 4cm x 1cm, and re-stuck with associated slither losses. There is loss to the enamel on one side of the jug, some small scratches visible within the copper lustre rim. There are some fine horizontal cracks to the glaze.
No further damage.
