A fine early 19th century Sheffield-plated two-handled entrée dish on stand: the heavy finely-cast foliate handle modelled as intertwined acanthus above similarly cast edges with C-scrolls and scallop shell style motifs, the warming stand with two further cast conforming handles and raised on four highly elaborate downswept feet terminating in foliate style scrolls, engraved armorial and Latin legend 'deeds shew' (approx. 35.5cm wide x 18cm highest point to top of handle).
