A Chinese painted silk thangka, Xuande mark, 17th century,
depicting a deity, amid scrolling clouds, banded borders,
41.5 cm x 26.5 cm including borders. Provenance - old French collection, with label verso.

There are a few areas of staining to the surface which can be seen in the photographs. There are some small losses to the image on the crown of the deity which have been re-painted and there are some other slight paint losses and vertical splits to the image. Some retouching to the green ground in places otherwise in reasonable condition considering it?s age.
