khaki painted crown.  Side brim with three drilled holes for 2nd Line troops.  Front of helmet stencilled "G.P.O.".  Inner brim dated 1941.  Black treated linen liner.  Crown cruciform pad absent.  Sprung sided webbing chinstrap.
