US Civil War 1864 Pattern Cavalry Sabre with curved fullered single edged blade 885mm in length. Marked "US 1864 A.G.M" plus maker marked "C Roby, W Chelmsford, Mass". Washer present. Brass guard. Grip wire missing. Overall length 1040mm. Complete with scabbard with twin suspension rings.
Sword blade is in very good condition, no rust or edge nicks. Grip missing wire and some loss to the leather. Scabbard has some splits along the seam.
