POSTAL HISTORY: 1963-67 interesting selection of mail including 1964 envelope from the ‘ROSS DEPENDENCY ANTACRTIC RESEARCH PROGRAMME' printed envelope franked by complete 1957 pictorial issue cancelled by Scott Base (26.6.64) cds, signed by Base Leader Russell Rawle over ‘LEADER/SCOTT BASE 1963/64’ red cachet and at right ‘FIRST MIDWINTER FLIGHT/MCMURDO/NEW/ZEALND/1964’ cachet in black and original contents on printed stationery, three further envelopes, one ‘OHMS’, Pole Station (3) and Campbell Island (2).
