Also 8 Nov. 1897 5m Egyptian Postal stat. env optd. "SOUDAN" from Wadi-Halfa Camp to Lt. Col. Sloggett (Principal Medical Officer at Battle of Omdurman) in Alexandria, with Alexandrie & Military Post Office, Alexandria c.d.s.'s and 13 Dec. 1897 env bearing 1m & 3m (damaged) issues of Egypt optd.
