4 cups, 6 saucers, 5 fruit bowls, 5 dessert and 5 dinner plates are seconds. Dessert and dinner plates used most with scratched centres and worn gilt borders. The vendor used brown packing tape which adhered to border of 4 dinner plates, thus taking off a little gilding to border as well
