RARE "WATERLOO/SUBSCRIPTION" MARK ON FRANKED "F. Freeling" COVER FROM G.B. TO HANOVER; Fine 25 Mar. 1816 E from London to "Lieut. Col. Luttermann, Commanding the King's Germ,an Legion at Hanover" signed "F. Freeling" on the front and so sent "FREE" (red crowned London cds)with mainly very fine rare "WATERLOO-SUBSCRIPTION" cachet on the front and London Foreign Branch an arrival cds's on the reverse. Only a handful of this important Waterloo mark have been recorded, and British mail franked to the German States is rare in addition. Exhibition Item.
