A mid-19th century bone fan, the monture lightly carved and pierced, the lithographed leaf showing a countryside location by water, a couple with small daughter accompanied by two maids and a donkey, preparing for a picnic, the recto with gold highlights and a small cartouche of a young lady with her birdcage, guard approx. contained in part of a card Duvelleroy fan box and accompanied by two damaged bone brisé fans (3 plus part box)
The first fan is in fair to good order, having a splint repair to one gorge stick. The brises are damaged and incomplete.
