Mounted as worn with accompanying letter dated 11th March 1946 to Mr S.P Hickie, 33 St Margarets Road, Brockley, London SE4 from Capt. J.M Allegne, forwarding WW2 ribbons. Naval Group in box of issue addressed to Mr E.W.Hickie of 85 Tyrwhich Road, Brockley, London SE4. Letter of condolence issued re Edward Thomas Hickie who was KIA on 5.4.1942 when his ship HMS Cornwall was sunk by Japanese Dive Bomber during the Indian Ocean Raid.
