A tenderplate, GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY, 1761, FEB 1908, 3500 GALLONS, from a standard Churchward tender, part of Swindon Lot A77, built in February 1908 and which served all Churchward's standard tender locomotives and also Dukes and, later, Castles, Halls, Granges and Manors. Records show that this tender was coupled with No 7820 DINMORE MANOR (now preserved)from 26 June 1958 onwards. Engraved brass, 11¼"x8¼", the front lightly polished. (Postage Band: B)
