An original wartime (WWII) letter sent from the White House, Washington to Mrs Weston from Eleanor Roosevelt (dated April 7, 1944), the letter refers to Eleanor Roosevelt's visit to Australia and has various references including the President's health where she refers to 'The President is much better and, of course, he is weary from the work and the strain.' The original envelope with three-cent stamp and marked The White House, Washington dated April 8th 1944, the original letter, again marked with the White House, Washington insignia and signed in ink Eleanor Roosevelt
