AUSTRALIAN STATES TASMANIA 1899-1907 collection of Tattersall's suppressed and undercover mail, containing historical information, covers, lottery tickets, list of prize winners, etc, incl. five examples of unstamped bulk "Postage Paid" covers with various "not found" and "unclaimed" handstamps to New Zealand (one of these still with eleven different tickets inside!), a damaged 1899 "Gone - No Address" cover to the Cape of Good Hope, three different types of printed reply envelopes, an attractive collection of different tickets and info inserts, also a range of 1901-07 covers from out of state  i.e. Queensland, Victoria, and New Zealand with examples of undercover addressing and some pretty frankings, several covers individually purchased from auctions and a dealer incl. three registered from New Zealand and two from Victoria, plus a small range of eight stamps with different types of "A" (George Adams) private perfin stamps as used by Tattersall's. (32 covers, 12 stamps, plus 36 tickets or other items)
