Original Horse & Jockey Car Mascot by Desmo. Original Horse And Jockey Car Mascot By Desmo. Excellent patination with sections of the original chrome still visible. The mascot depicts a horse and jockey jumping over a fence. It retains the original fixing for attaching to the car bonnet. The company’s logo is stamped on the front side of the metal base of the model whilst the back is indistinctly marked ‘Copyright’. The mascot is 17 cm by 13 cm wide. Desmo was one of the main car mascots manufactures from Birmingham founded in the early 1920’s, with car mascots continuing to be produced until the mid 1960’s.
