Property of a gentleman - a Victorian gilt decorated burgundy ground porcelain two handled mug, named & dated, the shaped oval panel painted with flowers, the reverse panel inscribed in gilt 'PRESENT TO George Twigge, Esq., of Atlow, Derbyshire, By A Staffordshire Friend, 1872', 4.9ins. (12.4cms.) high; together with an early 19th century Patent Ironstone China blue & white meat plate, 17.2ins. (43.7cms.) long; a mid 19th century English porcelain titled botanical sucrier; and a gilt metal based ovoid vase (4).
