NOLAN UP, 5TH SEPT 1922". THE MANX DERBY WAS ONE OF THE OLDEST HORSE RACES IN HISTORY, IT WAS ORIGINALLY INSTITUTED BY THE EARL OF DERBY CIRCA 1627
