An unusual Royal Crown Derby twin handled stem vase, early 20th century, of conical form with ornate spur handles and shaped neck cowl, the front of the cobalt blue body decorated with enamelled floral sprays among gilt scrolls, the back with a floral cornucopia, printed maker's mark for 1904 to base, 25cm high (at fault)

The piece no obvious chips, cracks or crazing. Examination under UV shows evidence of restoration to the cowl. There is rubbing and losses to the gilt highlights around the base, with minor rubbing to the gilt highlights of the body.
