A box of standard-size and modern postcards with sections for ferries (the biggest category), hovercraft, lifeboats, model yachts, paddle steamers, ship wrecks, yachts and assorted shipping. The ship wrecks section, with examples shown in our photo, include examples of Scapa Flow, the ill-fated HMS Gladiator collision off the Isle of Wight and the aftermath of the Zeebrugge raid in World War One. Most of the cards are in good collection but some have the usual faults, commensurate with age.
