A 19th century mahogany and inlaid wheel barometer, with damp/dry dial, thermometer with silvered scale, and engraved silvered dial, the spirit level back plate inscribed 'H. Ross, Warranted', the case with broken swan neck pediment, 27 by 4 by 98cm high. Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
