Colt "London" 1851 Model, six shot Navy Revolver. Octagonal barrel 7.5" inches, top flat marked "Address Col. Colt London" SN: 41918 matching, number dates revolver to 1855. Model known as a "London, London" ie it has an iron t/guard & back strap, cylinder with Naval Battle Scene (faint in parts). Attractive grey patina overall. Good walnut one piece grip (small chip to toe). Action in GWO, "Colts Patent" to l/h frame. British proof marks to barrel and cylinder. A good example contained in a converted cutlery box, with various accessories
