A synthetic ruby and diamond panel ring, comprising a central collet-set square-cut ruby of pinkish-red colour, measuring approximately 4.6mm x 4.6mm x 2.5mm, encircled by a row of sixteen grain-set brilliant-cut diamonds, in white metal testing as 18ct, the ring head of tilted square form and measuring 1.42cm x 1.38cm to tapered shoulders and a yellow metal ring shank of D-profile, marked ‘750’, size P, 4.5 grams.
