PAIR OF SEVRES STYLE LIDDED PORCELAIN URNS. A pair of porcelain and gilded metal mounted urns, with a cobalt blue speckled glaze to the body and lid, the dome top lid with a pineapple shaped finial and applied leaves and berries, the body with Lion mask handles and applied leaves and swags, and mounted on a square shaped base with canted corners. Bearing Sevres style painted marks, various damages and repairs, 31cms high. (2).
First urn, small chip to the underside of the rim, circular metal piece is loose, some scratches to the body in places, couple of black marks near the bottom of the body, the metal parts have some wear/discolouration in places over time.
2nd urn, lid - has been broken and repaired/restored (large section to the top and underside of the lid is unglazed and poorly done), cracks running across the lid from the break, the top metal section is loose from the body, the body itself has various cracks running through it from the rim downwards and through the base, patched repairs in places including a large section of the rim and smaller area near the bottom (by a crack), various scratches to the body, metal parts with some wear and discolouration.
