A late-Georgian mahogany longcase clock the eight-day duration movement striking the hours on a bell with the thirteen-inch painted break-arch dial having black Roman numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture, and with floral decoration to the four corners and arch, the rear false plate embossed with the dialmakers name Walker & Hughes, Birmingham, the mahogany case having boxwood stringing, a swan-neck pediment, fluted pillars to the hood and standing on bracket feet, height 206cm.
