Comprising: Queens Sudan Medal (PTE RAMC), Queens South Africa Medal (Ghost Dates), two clasps Cape Colony, Orange Free State, (PTE RAMC), Kings South Africa Medal South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902 (PTE RAMC), Khedives Sudan Medal clasp Khartoum (Privately engraved naming).
Private Archibald Edward Arthur Haines was a native of Cirencester and enlisted into the Medical Staff Corps on the 22nd August 1891. He saw service in Egypt from January to October 1898 and was then posted to Malta before service in South Africa from February 1900 until November 1902. He returned to the UK and was transferred to the Reserve 1912. He died, aged 95, in November 1969.
